About

The Full Story

Welcome to our colorful chaos! Ever since I was a kid, I was that little artist copying the illustrations from my textbooks, dreaming of being the next Leonardo Da Vinci or something. When I finished high school I decided to apply to the Academy of Arts for Illustration, and guess what? I made the shortlist! But apparently, that’s not what the Universe had planned for me at the time.

I took a little detour through various jobs, eventually landing on the path of becoming an English teacher. Fast forward a few years, and I found myself working as a technical translator in a big water company, where I met my gorgeous husband. At our wedding he made a vow to show me the world, and boy, did he take that seriously :D! Oh, did I mention - we said Yes three times!!! in three different countries - in the eyes of our parents at Tiwi Beach in Kenya, at the eyes of the civil authorities in Bulgaria, and in the eyes of God in United Kingdom. We often joke that getting divorced will be quite a hassle to say No three times. :)

Seven years later, our daughter made her grand entrance in Dubai, and from there, we bounced around to places like Beirut and Sarajevo. We’ve explored some wild spots like Morocco, Kenya, South Africa, Norway, Egypt, Oman and Estonia - each one crazier and more colorful than the last, and all adding a splash of colour to my artistic awareness!

Ever since our daughter graced us with her presence, my energy has skyrocketed, transforming each of her birthdays into a full-blown gala performance on my side - sewing costumes, handmade decorations, themed food, and entertainment galore! Over the years, I've dabbled in every art medium and craft I would come across, from crocheting, wood carving, glass engraving to graffiti and watercolour mastering, and even opened an Art Atelier in Beirut, where I hosted art classes and unforgettable kids' parties. Though Covid made us close the Atelier, it opened up a world of creativity - I’ve illustrated three children’s books (one penned by my daughter!), designed books and book covers, participated in group art exhibitions, signed up for several courses in Domestika to learn more skills, and take occasionally online drawing workshops.

The women in my family are all so talented and my mum and little sister bring some of their creative spirit along to this brand. Here you can find items made by their hands - window glass, macrame and others. Our first public appearance was at the Christmas Bazaar in Plovdiv in 2025, their 10th Anniversary :), pics from which you can see in Gallery page, and if brave enough, we'll pop our faces in more live bazaars.

Well, hop along and join us in our whimsical journey through art and colour, where every creation tells a story!

Love, Em
